Under the hood
A calm surface, powered by a genuinely obsessive parser. Here is what happens between the photo and the numbers.
Camera, gallery, or share sheet. A photo of the receipt is all it takes.
Oversized photos are slimmed to a crisp 4096px — small enough to be fast, sharp enough to read every character.
EXIF data straightens tilted shots before a single word is read. Upside down? It flips and tries again.
Faded register ink gets a 1.35× contrast boost, so old receipts read like new ones.
Every character is recognized right on your phone — nothing sent anywhere.
Item on the left, price on the right, photo taken at an angle — rows are stitched back together by geometry.
Store, date, items, tax, and total are pulled out by a parser that knows around a hundred merchants and their quirks.
Line items are added up and checked against the total. If cents are missing, the solver hunts them down.
Price watch
Every item you buy is tracked by unit price — per kilo, per litre, per each — across every store. When a price moves, you hear about it in plain language.
